2020 has been pretty tough, we don’t need to remind you all distress Covid-19 has caused. We really hope for brighter days to come. Now is the time to look at the future with an optimistic eye. Around the world, and Brussels makes no exception, people have shown their support to their favorite breweries, bars and restaurants who have been struggling for months now. At BXLBeerFest, we humbly try to put these true artisans in the spotlight during our events. Before things get back to normal, they need to know that your are always there for them and, let’s face it, we kinda need it too.
We keep our fingers crossed hoping to organize our 2021 festival this August as planned. Of course, this would depend on the evolution of the pandemic and sanitary measures in place when the time comes. But, no matter what, we will organize something. The time to endure the situation is over! Even if it won’t be easy to offer a full BXLBeerFest experience, we need to be creative and we will. Like everybody, we got a big hit on the head, but we want you to know that we are still there, fully up and running.
In the following weeks and months, we will give the floor to these wonderful women and men who work so hard to imagine, create, sell, serve and distribute true craft beers. But first, you’ll get the chance to show your love for them. On Tuesday 12 January 2021, let’s gather on social media and share a comment or picture with the hashtag #SanteïBXL so we generate together a big wave of positive intentions.
We are a non profit organization and we have fixed expenses every month. Without an event in 2020, it’s also financially difficult for us. If you’d like, you can make a donation via the link below. Thanks in advance.
More than ever, we need to come together around our common passion: the love of good, honest craft beers.
